Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your comfortable lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening as you prepare for your exciting safari adventure.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. A full-day game drive will give you the chance to spot lions, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. As the sun sets, we head to our lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a wildlife-rich haven known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant flamingo-filled shores. The lush forests and breathtaking Rift Valley escarpment provide a picturesque backdrop for an afternoon game drive before heading to our lodge for a restful night.
Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we make our way to the legendary Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The endless plains of the Serengeti are home to incredible wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling into a luxury tented camp in the heart of the savannah.
Day 5-6: Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti, following the rhythm of the wild. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of greener pastures. Morning and afternoon game drives allow you to track predators such as cheetahs, leopards, and lions in action.
Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After a sunrise game drive, we head toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Enjoy breathtaking views from the crater rim before descending into the caldera for an up-close wildlife experience. The crater floor is teeming with diverse species, including black rhinos, hippos, and massive elephant bulls. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim.
Day 8: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi – Cultural Experience
Today, we take a break from game drives to visit Lake Eyasi, home to the indigenous Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Engage in a fascinating cultural experience, learning about their traditional way of life, including hunting and gathering techniques passed down for generations.
Day 9: Lake Eyasi to Mto wa Mbu – Local Community Tour
We continue our journey to Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village known for its rich cultural diversity. Experience a guided walking tour, visit local markets, and enjoy traditional Tanzanian cuisine prepared by the locals. This immersive experience provides a deeper connection to Tanzania’s diverse cultures.
Day 10: Mto wa Mbu to Arusha – Leisure & Shopping
After breakfast, we return to Arusha, where you can relax at your lodge or explore the town’s bustling markets, coffee shops, and cultural centers. This is the perfect opportunity to pick up souvenirs and reflect on your incredible safari journey.
Day 11: Departure
