Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome from Engida-Travel as we pick you up from your hotel or airport in Arusha. After a short briefing, we embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. As we explore the park, you’ll witness diverse wildlife, including lions, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes. A picnic lunch is enjoyed with stunning views of the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink. In the evening, we drive to your comfortable lodge or tented camp for dinner and relaxation under the African sky.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park – Endless Plains
After an early breakfast, we set off for Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destination. The journey takes us through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking landscapes and possible sightings of Maasai villages along the way. Upon arrival in Serengeti, we embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannah teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five and the famous Great Migration (seasonal). As the sun sets over the plains, we head to your lodge or tented camp for a delicious dinner and a night immersed in the wild.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
We rise early for a spectacular sunrise game drive in Serengeti, the best time to witness predators in action. After breakfast, we continue exploring before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most remarkable wildlife havens on Earth. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into your lodge or camp near the crater rim, enjoying breathtaking views and a relaxing evening with a hearty meal.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha
On the final day, we descend into Ngorongoro Crater, an ancient volcanic caldera that shelters an incredible concentration of wildlife. Here, you’ll have the chance to see rhinos, hippos, lions, and a variety of bird species. A picnic lunch is served by the stunning hippo pool before we begin our drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day safari adventure with Engida-Travel.
