15 Days Explore Serengeti’s Wonders and Zanzibar

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our Engida-Travel representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Relax and recover from your journey as you prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, and various antelope species. In the evening, head to a comfortable lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. Explore the lush groundwater forest and the alkaline lake, home to flamingos and hippos. After an exciting day, retreat to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Set out for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route, arriving in Central Serengeti by afternoon. Explore the vast savannah, where predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam freely. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 5-6: Exploring the Serengeti (Great Migration & Wildlife Encounters)

Spend two full days in Serengeti National Park, following the movements of the Great Migration (depending on the season). Witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the plains, pursued by hungry predators. Enjoy morning and evening game drives, maximizing your wildlife encounters.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After a morning game drive in Serengeti, proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive at the crater rim in the evening, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views before settling in at your lodge or campsite.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. After an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch, return to Arusha for an overnight stay, preparing for the next leg of your journey.

Day 9: Flight to Zanzibar – Stone Town Tour

Take a short flight to Zanzibar, where you’ll be transferred to Stone Town, a historic city rich in culture and heritage. Explore its narrow streets, visit the Old Fort, House of Wonders, and learn about its spice trade history. Spend the night in a boutique hotel in Stone Town.

Day 10-11: Zanzibar Beach & Leisure (Nungwi or Kendwa)

Head to the northern beaches of Nungwi or Kendwa, where pristine white sands and turquoise waters await. Relax under the sun, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or engage in optional activities like snorkeling, diving, or a sunset dhow cruise.

Day 12: Spice Farm & Jozani Forest Tour

Visit a spice plantation, where you’ll see, smell, and taste exotic spices like cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla. Later, explore Jozani Forest, home to the rare Red Colobus Monkey, before returning to your beach resort for a relaxing evening.

Day 13: Dolphin Watching & Sandbank Picnic

Embark on a dolphin-watching tour in Kizimkazi, where you may have the chance to swim with wild dolphins. Enjoy a sandbank picnic with fresh seafood and tropical fruits before returning to your resort for a free evening.

Day 14: Full Day Relaxation & Optional Activities

Spend your last full day in Zanzibar at leisure. Whether you choose a spa day, kite surfing, or simply lounging on the beach, make the most of your time in paradise.

Day 15: Departure
